Yoga Sessions

Woolston Sensory and Play Centre, Hall Road, WA1 4PN

Suitable for young children through to teens. Delivered by Deborah Chronakis, experienced yoga instructor and teacher of Autistic children.Helpful in managing anxiety.

£5 for child and carer inclusive. Booking essential.

One Friday a month, 6-7p.m.

Children's ASD Football Skills Group

 

When? Wednesday evenings

Where? Orford Jubilee Park, 5v5 pitch

What time? 5.30 -6.30 p.m.

Warrington Museum Autism Friendly Sessions

 

When? The second Saturday of each month.

Where? Warrington Museum and Art Gallery.

What time? 9.30 -10.30 a.m.

 

The museum will be open exclusively to families with a child who has ASD for the first half an hour. After that the museum is open to all, but generally remains quiet until 11 a.m. allowing for some integration too. There is a refuge room available if necessary and the museum hope to have a volunteer with ASD present. There is also a low key craft session on offer, which is usually very tactile, for those who are interested.

 

 

Adult Aspergers Support and Social Group

 

When? Fridays from 10th March 2017

Where? Fairfield and Howley Neighbourhood Project, Fairfield Street, WA1 3AJ

What time? 4p.m. - 8 p.m.

A new self help and motivation group for adults with Aspergers. Friends and family welcome to come along too. Small charge of £3 covers a drink and a biscuit plus the room hire.  

 

'We want everyone to really feel part of the group and welcome

members’ opinions on how we should run the group, the direction we

take and what we do. That said you are also welcome to come and

just sit and observe what goes on!'

 

 

Warrington ADHD Support Group

 

When? 3rd Wednesday of each month

Where? St Oswalds Social Club, Padgate Lane, WA1 3LB

What time? 7.30 p.m.

 

A local group of "families that have come together to support each other". No confirmed diagnosis necessary. Small charge of £1 for tea/coffee.
